I am no planning to take backup of running queue Mgr..We will schedule a monthly /weekly backup by taking the qmgr down...then take a backup of the important file and logs under /var/mqm . ...

We have discussed the idletimeout issue with IBM support and with Cisco support for the CSS load balancer idleflow timeout ..Cisco says they wont recommend the timeout value in CSS tobe 0 ...

Hi Peter,

Yes we have heartbeat set to 300 seconds for both SDR and RCVR channels.
We do have channel problem when there are active messages .Also we have triggering set for the channels.
