the requirement is to make sure the channel is closed if there is a problem at either of the ends for which you have to enable that parameter!!! |

But i can see the event getting displayed in Tivoli Enterprise Portal server which is monitoring my events on that particular QMGR........that means event is getting generated but still i dont see any ... |

i have enabled the channel event for a particular QMGR using
ALTER QMGR CHLEV(ENABLED)
and when i start and stop some channel there should be an event generated and a message should be available ... |

No...there is no mqm folder in /opt
I think on AIX they are found at /usr/mqm and on Solaris at /opt/mqm......please correct me if i am wrong

/usr/mqm/samp/bin directory is empty in AIX MQ 6.0.2.2 installation.
Can i download those and add it in bin directory? |
