Yep, but at least the problem was solved, and a "what" and "why" on the error was found, so in that sense I'm happy.

A quick, related question.
If the MQSI were to crash, would it be possible for it to drag the MQ with it?
or would it only occur the other way around. |

It seems to be an issue of a backup running and blocking the file, which makes sense. since there's a backup job running every 5 or 10 minutes.
Now that's a paranoid backup strategy!

As for the upgrade then we have pointed it out ( it's one of our clients ) but it wasn't our decision to make.

There's only really been one change in the last 4 years. It was on flows but it was made after these problems started occuring.
So it shouldn't be whats causing it. ( I think ). |
