There are two tools that we are evaluating currently for testin

GHTester and RFHUTIL.

Which one do you think is better? any links that can give me comparison statistics ?

Just a different thought here.. y dont u detach ur subtree into a new xml and create two bitstreams ?

one option that we are trying is to dynamically delete the tags of huge xmls as we complete its processing... not sure if it applies to your business requirement.
