I am sorry, I forgot to mention that qm1 and qm2 are on two different servers. Both unix servers have a user "tmpusr". tmpusr has "all" access on the local and remote cluster queue ... |

Yes, they are in a VCS cluster, they are not in a MQ cluster. Can I still define one of them as a default. Would that not confuse the VCS clustering service at the time of failover ? |

this looks like a domain security related issue to me. did u install MQ as a domain user ? try starting mq after logging into the system as a local user on the system. you may want to check the userid ... |

I changed dcomcnfg to use MUSR_MQADMIN. also created a local id for accessing MQ explorer. I dont use the domain user anymore.
All is well now. |

An additional info that I missed mentioning - I created a local Id as member of mqm and administrators groups. It is able to access MQ resources without any problems. |
