If it's not asking you about complete install options than you aren't installing the 'Documenation and Tools' installer.
There are 3 possible installers - 'Server', 'Client' and 'Documentation and ... |

If you have MQExplorer open all day then the messages shouldn't be backing up. they should all be being delivered to your MQExplorer.

There kind of is a process, but I'm guessing noone's started it for a while.

That sounds like it may be a bit too complicated for FTE. You might want to try Broker instead. |
