Well, I managed to create the db and ODBC DC. Reading help files is good... 
Using the mqsicreatedb command takes care of this, it turns out. Anyway, I'm not yet completly happy:

Hi,
Problem solved (or rather evaporated). For some unknown reason the SMTP server I tried my flow on choked on the mail adress. Running against another server, it worked right away.
