Got this fixed now - nothing wrong with the MQ settings at all - turned out to be a fault with the Oracle Message Gateway which was fixed by applying a patch from Oracle.

Are you saying that instead of using an alias on our local queue manager which points to a remote definition(which inturn points to a remote queue manager) we should configure the gateway ...

Good idea, i'll give it a try - made the changes in the toolkit - file still loads slow.

recently my Toolkit (WBIMB CSD3) keeps going into a 'NOT RESPONDING' state for 5 minutes at a time - where taskmanager shows 100% cpu for the javaw.exe but not much memory appears to be being used.

There was a DB connection error in the syslog (similar to the one i've included above) just before the original abend in my first post.

Thanks for the tip about '-g' that removed the ANONYMOUS types.
However that didnt turn out to be the problem.

Infact the problem wasnt with the outgoing CWF message set at all - it was a problem ...
