One of our developers is getting a TCP/IP error like below when an application of theirs tries to consume messages off a queue.

Error on receive from HOST.

This product seems a bit buggy.

I closed the management console, re-opened, went to edit mode and was able to delete.

If "delete node" is greyed out, make sure you're in edit mode - click on the pencil on top.

Yeah, I've tried it in edit mode, it's still greyed out.

There seems to be some issues with WMB.

Like it's running on an unsupported platform. I feel compeled to point out that, even if WMQ appears to be working, it's still not a supported configuration ...

I am running this on Vista

Neither WMQ nor WMB are supported on Vista, as you discovered

I have managed to get WMQ running on vista with no issues so far.

I managed to get the client installed with no issues.
I guess we will just have to wait until IBM releases a Vista compliant MQ server.
