That could be the case. I know if you start them within a script and do not specify the '-r' it does not use it. If you have the Qmgr start them the '-r' is there even if you don't use it. I might hav ... |

I have also found the the channel initiator when started by the qmgr also has a "-r" which is not documented either |

I have noticed that when checking to see if the MQ Listener is running I find the following(Listener is started by Qmgr on start)
/usr/mqm/bin/runmqlsr -r -m Qmgr -t TCP -p 1415
I can't find any ... |
