I dont think there is such option in windows but it is used in unix env to cleanup the memory used by workflow processes.

If you want to learn more about LDAP you may start with www.openldap.org and if you want to know how to use LDAP directory with WMQWF then 3.4 admin guide is the right choice. Hope this helps.
