The DISPLAY variable likely didn't get passed through from strmqcfg to runmqcfg, which launches eclipse.

If you bring up the full desktop in your remote X serv, it should work. Or you can look at ...

I installed MQ 6.0 on SuSE Linux 10, and also installed MQSeriesIES30-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm and MQSeriesConfig-6.0.0-0.i386.rpm for the MQ explorer.
