We have it in some of our QMs, and we couldn't notice any performance improvement (avg response times are pretty much the same), but it's good for troubleshooting. We had some sporadic queuing in the ... |

Hi all!
We are trying to implement a way to require an LDAP/OS user and password for a specific channel that the non MQ admins uses for MQ Explorer.
If we set the CONNAUTH's CHCKCLNT to 'require ... |

1. Put MQ IPT in front of both queue managers, with an internal route defined for each (one route active, one dormant, i.e. shut down);
2. Use the same queue manager alias in both your gateways (th ... |

Seems wrong to me that the use of an Alias Q breaks CLWLUSEQ(ANY). But apparently so.
What happens if you replace the alias with a queue remote with a blank qmgr name? or a cluster alias as qmgr nam ... |

You will probably need to lose the QALIAS definition, if you want this to work. The QALIAS does not have a CLWLUSEQ attribute.
