This turned out to be a problem with the way I had the QCF defined for JBoss. I had added parameters for User ID and Password, with valid credentials for the QM no less, which for some reason was caus ... |

OK, I can try that. But I need to run my QM as the Jboss user, not the other way around, which leads to an embarrassing question - how do I run the QM as my user of choice, on Linux, I have the user i ... |

Thanks - great info.
This case was a little unusual in that we were conducting a "live" test, (don't ask - long story), and never planned to stop the QM, only to stop traffic coming into it ... |

I'm curious as to what people do to gracefully bring a queue manager off-line without adversely impacting connecting applications -
Assume a queue manager which handles JMS traffic via SVRCONN chann ... |

Yes, fixing the application would indeed be the ideal solution. Let's assume I don't have that luxury. As an MQ/WAS admin, what do I have at my disposal to mask the problem that I haven't already empl ... |

I support a JMS application running in WAS 6.1 that is sporatically generating MQJMS1024 (MQRC 2009) while making a connection to MQ via an MQ Queue Connection Factory. I've done a fair amount of read ... |

So knowing what I know about th ... |
