HI I have a queue manager (QM_Edirectory) that is runnning on solaris 2.8. The mqseries version is 5.2.

The problem i am having is that I currently have 14 clients connected to the queue manager ...

MQ Series IS not necessarily doing a conversion however you must make sure that you using the proper encoding set for you Platform.
