How do I access the AlternateUserID without creating a new instance of MQQueueManager??

I do not understand how to access the Queuemanager structure if I haven't created a new instance of QMQueueManager.

I know that I could add another userid on the IBM OS/390 but we would like to avoid to add a lot of different userids on the IBM OS/390.

Thats why I would like to add a static userID in my applicat ...

This should work. I am using MQ Series client 5.3 and are connecting to an IBM OS/390. The error you got seems to be related to Channel, port or hostname.
