Take a look at the WMQ Script Command (MQSC) Reference manual.

Look closely at DEFINE Q, specifically DEFINE QLOCAL( ) with the LIKE parameter.

(Looked like English to me.)

Guys thanks for the help anyhow this is what it is
MQ_Q_MGR_NAME_LENGTH= The length is 48 characters.
This defines the length of the queue manager name field.

I heard it a lot of times people saying to start and stop the JSM filter ??

Hey guys one more question ....for applying the fixpak do we use the rpm -uvh or rpm -ivh .....?????

I assume that rpm -Uvh is appropriate since it update the rpm package with the latest once right ...

ya i'm hoping to do the same soo .. and hope that will work out !
initially I set the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL =2.6.18 ( my kernel is 2.6.1
And then i even tried to unset it but the same result it didn't ...

exerk ..the mqconfig script showed ok for everything .....right nothing failed
and hoping the fixpak will do the work ......I Wish it will !
