What exactly is a channel initiator and
a channel listener?
i'm working on mqseries on nt 4.0
primarily using java and vb.
i've just tried out simple comm pgms
in java and vb showing triggering etc.
In what cases would one use
1)sender -reciver channel
2)server-requester channel
3)A requester-sender channel
4)Server-receiver channel
can anyone give a concrete eg's in which anyone of these combinations could be used?

I've just tried out the sender-receiver channel.

See the MQSeries manual "Intercommunication" - especially part I. After reading that section, if you have follow on questions or clarification, please post the specific questions.
