Hi I'm running a multithreaded app that core dumps (within 3-5 days) with the following:

---
An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
Unexpected Signal : 11 occurred at PC=0xff331a34
Function name=memcmp
Library=/usr/platform/SUNW,UltraAX-i2/lib/libc_psr.so.1

# The exception above was detected in native code outside the VM
#
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.3.1-b24 mixed mode)
#
---

I get the following errors in the error log:

AMQ6118: An internal MQSeries error has occurred (20806070)

AMQ6184: An internal MQSeries error has occurred on queue manager
AO.QUEUE.MANAGER.

Shared memory blocks look normal.

One important point is that it only happens when I run in bindings mode. In TCP mode, it works fine. It also works fine on Solaris 2.6 machines.

My current config is:

Sun Netra
Solaris 8
JVM 1.3.1
MQSeries Server 5.2
MQSeries Client 5.2
MA_88 API's
Bindings Mode
Persistend is on

I have the latest Solaris 8 patches installed, and the latest MQSeries patches installed.

Has anyone run accross this, or know what it could be?

Thank you.

Any FDC files. You may want to run trace to see exactly what is going on. I know it will be lots od output to deal with.
