I installed MQ series. I Using the quick beginnings, I installed MQ on 2 boxes. I
am trying to send a message from one computer to the other.

On SystemA
- create a queue manager (SYSTEMA)
- created a remote queue 'QUEUE1'
- created a Sender channel A.TO.B
- created a Local xmitq queue A.TO.B
On SYSTEM B
- created Queuemanager SYSTEMB
- created local queue 'QUEUE1'
- created receiver channel A.TO.B
Started queus and channels.

In the console for SYSTEM A, I select the REMOTE queue QUEUE1 and the all task menu item. There is NO menu item to let me send a message. why is this. How do I put message into this remote queue to send over to system b ????? help !!

Probably your best bet is to use amqsput. Go to a command prompt on system A and run:

amqsput QUEUE1 SYSTEMA

Type some text and hit enter to send it. Repeat to send another message or hit enter again to exit.
