Hi!
I have got two repository queue managers on
OS/390 and MQSeries V2.1. On the second I have noticed too high queue depth 690 of SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE. On the first the queue depth is low 2. These two queue depths remain unchanged after working hours when sending of application messages from the repository queue managers is stopped.I am scarit to delete these messages because beside aplication messages there can be system messages. What to do here with these messages?

You really MUST NOT remove messages from these queues. What these indicate to me is that some cluster sender channels are not operating correctly and that other qmgrs within the cluster have not been informed of either a) updates to the cluster config or more importantly b) real application messages have not reached their destination.

Check the status of all your cluster sender channels and see if any are in retry. Check that all qmgrs participating within the cluster are up and running and have cluster receiver channels defined ready to receive these messages.

If you BROWSE these messages, the CorrelationID will give you the name of the channel that the Queue Manager is trying to send them down.

Cheers,
