ACE 11.0.020 - Windows Server 2019 on VMWare Virtual machine.

Toolkit and runtime running on same server.

When launching the visual debugger the launch progress stalls at 84% with messsge : "Launching: waiting for response from the communication channel..."

After upwards of 25-35 minutes the launch completes and debug is possible, This excludes problems with port availability.

No obvious errors in the Windows Event viewer, Application, Security, System logs.

The Integration Server contains only the application + two shared libraries.
I've shut down most other Integration Servers so RAM is only 50% used on a 16GB platform.

Toolkit process is running at 50% cpu
Nothing else registers much if any activity e.g. DataflowEngines and bipbroker,
Anti virus product also shows no activity in Task Manager,

Product largely unusable in this state.

It should not take that long so it would probably be worth opening a support ticket for this...

Have you tried doubling the Xmx for the toolkit in the eclipse.ini?

*** Update ***
1. Changing the eclipse Xmx setting didn't help.

2. I created another broker and same issue.

3. Then I stripped out all bar the handful of projects I really needed from the workspace and hurrah..... debug loads much quicker.
The response of the visual debugger is still poor, with eclipse showing (Not Responding) from time to time on the message flow view but faster within ESQL. But generally I can live with that.
