We are trying to connect to a remote queue manager without having a default queue manager setup from IBM ACE v11.
On setting up the destination queue manager name, host name, listener port and server connection channel in the MQ node, we are getting the following error:
Error code :2677 :Failed to connect to queue manager.

1) Is there any other configuration necessary to achieve the same.
2) Can anyone explain if the MQ connection uses a default queue.
3) Is there any other connection details missing

Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error.

We are current using v11 fix pack 14 and this issue has been resolved in v11 fix pack 7. But we are still facing the same error - Failed to connect to queue manager.
