I enabled flow stats from the command line like this:
Code:
mqsichangeflowstats MyNode -s -g -j -c active -t basic -n basic -o xml

My BMC monitoring tool shows the statistics for the message flows being updated every 20 seconds.

In the IIB Web Admin GUI, if I navigate to the Overview tab for a message flow under Advanced Properties I see
Snapshot Statistics = "active"
Snapshot Statistics Thread Data = "basic"
Snapshot Statistics Node Data = "basic"

Life is good.

But if I go to the Statistics tab for a message flow in the IIB Web Admin GUI, the charts are blank and it says "Statistics collection for the flow is turned off".

Why is this? Is the Statistics tab in the IIB Web Admin GUI for some other type of stats?

I believe the Web GUI does its own subscription to the published data.
So you need to activate the statistics info in the web Gui to see the data there.

I don't need to see them in the Web GUI in this use case. Just trying to explain why the Web GUI shows a warning banner that says flow stats are not enabled when at the same time the command line shows they are enabled, while at the same time the Overview tab in the WEB GUI says they are enabled.

Both should exhibit the same behavior. Recently we had an issue with mqsichangeflowstats, however it is on latest product version "ACE"
