I have a Java app that uses the IIB 10 IntegrationAPI to interrogate msg/subflows, in order to determine their topology. My code uses the com.ibm.broker.config.proxy.MessageFlowProxy.Node and NodeConnection classes to do this.

In ACE, its IntegrationAPI doesn't have any corresponding com.ibm.integration.admin.proxy.MessageFlowProxy.Node[Connection] classes.

I thought perhaps the com.ibm.integration.admin.model.MessageFlowModel might be the way in - but no, it's a JSON structure that defines a load of 'properties' with methods to get some of them.

The 'broker' classes are provided in ACE and marked as deprecated, as an aid to migration. This means I could use my existing code, but I need to know that the missing classes with be provided eventually.

Does anyone know in which fixpack the missing classes are due to be provided?

OR... is there another way to get the nodes and connections?

hi...As per the documentation MessageFlowProxy still seems to exists at the IntegrationAPI

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSTTDS_11.0.0/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/be43040_.html

the proxy classes are now at 'com\ibm\integration\admin\proxy\' path

Hi abhi_thri

Many thanks for replying.

Unfortunately, 'node' has two meanings since the term 'Broker' was changed to 'Int Node'.

It's the nodes in a message flow that I am referriing to - which allow you to discover the nodes and their connections withing a flow.

I think the MessageFlowProxy.Node and MessageFlowProxy.NodeConnection classes might be inner classes of the IIB 10 MessageFlowProxy class.

I can't find anything like these in ACE at fp10 level.

The search goes on...
