Hi All ,

I have a doubt regarding starting the fte transfer by placing definition xml in Agent command queue.

I am able to work thru ascenario where the agent qm is local and files are to be placed to outbound servers .But the issue is when it comes the reverse of this like - a file to be transfered from remote stagging server to local server - how can I place message to remote Agent command queue ? is there a way i can connect to local qm and erach that queue ? may be via clustering ?

I was thinking of making the remote agent command queue also to be part if the cluster so that the local fte qm - fte2Qm will have a visibility to that queue and application can place msg to remote queue ?

or is ther anyother way ?

I know when we use ftecreate transfer with remote agent its working - so if some one cna tell me how its working also be helpful .

Thanks in advance ,

To put the XML command request, you need a MQ messaging route to the remote agent command queue, and a return route for reply messages (if you need them). The routes can be provided by normal MQ configuration techniques.

Its a given that the two MFT/FTE agents involved in the transfer have a MQ messaging route between them to access each others queues, otherwise file transfers could not occur.
