Hi,
I am trying to list out the various drawbacks of using Java clients over bindings. I am aware of the usual drawbacks in using clients as the loss of assured delivery , and the fact that bindings gives better performance.
I have also encountered several problems in the environment that I work in with applications using java clients to connect to queue managers.
I was wondering if anybody has done more research on this topic and had some more information to share with me.
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

You still get assured delivery with client messages. What you don't get is two phase commit capabilities which include a database.
