Sure, give DP the MQIPT endpoint as the MQEndpoint...

DataPower is a MQ Client and MQIPT works between MQ Clients and MQ Servers.

More info here: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSFKSJ_9.1.0/com.ibm.mq.pro.doc/ipt0000_.htm

You won't find anything specific to DataPower to MQIPT. Just focus on the info related to MQ Clients to MQIPT to MQ Servers.

Thanks for your replies.

When Data power connects to MQIPT , we can configure the DP with MQ IPT values no problem

Now in the other direction when MQIPT connects to DataPower , should we have to mention the DataPower end points on mqipt?
as it is mentioned DataPower is a mqclient only
so will it listen any port like 1414 ? this is for the network access.

Regards

DataPower is an MQClient ONLY. It will poll on the connection port to MQ. Never listen. Obviously you will need to have an outgoing connection to the MQIPT host and port(s) (multi-instance qmgr) enabled on the network.
