Hi,

we are trying to do a POC to read data from Syslog of SQL server and upload in another SQLserver DB. But not getting any previous experience to do via IIB.
any help please.

For the purpose of this answer, I'm assuming by "Syslog" you mean the syslog of a Unix server on which the SQL software is running. If you don't, please restate your question.

I recommend the following steps:

- get SPLUNK
- spend 5 minutes configuring it
- get on with something else

Seriously.

The SPLUNK software is designed to meet your use case. You could probably invent some kind of wheel to do it yourself (and IMHO IIB is not a sutiible tool to use) but it would be clunky.

When I got this requirement to to DO POC ..I thought the same ..It is some thing similar to below.

https://www.rsyslog.com/doc/v8-stable/tutorials/database.html.

I am not expert of SQL server but look like they are writing data to syslog also.
from where expecting to read from IIB.

following is the actual requirement but data has to be captured from Syslog not the tables.

Now got correct word. it is not Syslog it is SQL Transaction Log from where IIB have to read data..
