Good luck. You will see some improvement, but not orders of magnitude. It will ultimately be constrained by network throughput, but at least you will be utilising it as much as you can.

Before rewriting the app to multi-thread, verify that the SERVER end of the channel does not limit concurrent connection instances or threads per app instance. MAXINST and MAXINSTC channel attributes.
