How to prevent users from programmatically creating variable topics. Forcing them to use the fixed topics previously defined by the MQ administrators.

Set up the publish/subscribe security such that "undesirable" topic strings are unauthorized - see here.

Be aware that one of the points of using pub/sub is that applications have a certain freedom to define topics, and locking it down too far will eliminate much of the benefit.

If it's essential that applications are limited to a specific range of destinations with no capability to add new ones without the input of the administrators, consider using a standard point-to-point topology with namelists.

Thanks Vitor!

To get what I'm trying to accomplish, I need to set security attributes to prevent any user from creating new topics and allowing only administrators to do so. Thus, no one will be able to create variable topics and all the non-administrators will be obliged to publish or subscribe to the existing fixed topics.

I guessed that from your first post.

I stand by everything I said above, including the part about locking down your topic structure to the point it has no value any more.
