And where is this error occurring? On the iSeries box, or Windows box?

This error that you have shown us is emitted by the MQ Explorer tool.

Please also show us what the queue manager on your AS/400 machine said.

If you are unsure how to do this, go to the WRKMQM panel and type 23 for Display logs in the space to the left of your queue manager name. This will take you to /QIBM/UserData/mqm/qmgrs/qmname/errors where you can type 5 for Display in the space to the left of the object AMQERR01.LOG. Type bot to scroll to the bottom of the error log and then page up to read the last thing reported by the queue manager.

do you mean that a user ID with the same name as your logon on the windows machine exists on the AS/400 machine and on there it has all rights and is a member of the QMQMADM group?

Cheers,
Morag

You need the correct permissions on the AS400 machine for authentication to the Queue Managers. Have you checked logs on AS400?

Possible your V6.0 queue manager is too old and it is before the time all authorization errors were written to the error log. May I suggest you turn on authority events on the queue manager to see what the error is reported as?

no, my windows user which iam logging in windows server is a admin user which has all authorities to perform MQ.

I am unclear how the authorities of your Windows user on your Windows Server is relevant when you are reporting an authority error on your AS/400 queue manager? Perhaps we don't fully understand your problem scenario. Perhaps you can expand a little more on your problem? I can see that you are using MQ Explorer. Are you able to connect to the queue manager with MQ Explorer? What action are you attempting to do with the MQ Explorer on your AS/400 queue manager when the error you describe is shown? What user ID will your SVRCONN be running with on the AS/400 end of the connection if it is not your windows login (i.e. how is your windows user id relevant in this problem scenario?) Do you have a blank MCAUSER, or something set in it?

Cheers,
Morag
