Hi all,

I need to search ldap for some user and to return user details(like ldapsearch). Can I do this form IIB 10? If can be done, I need some help with custom esql or java code for doing this.

Thanks in advance

Hi...just curious about the exact problem you are trying to solve here, if it just about authenticating an user is that not possible by setting up an LDAP security profile and enable the flow to use it as described at infocenter topic 'Authenticating incoming requests with LDAP'

If your intention is to retrieve the user details and do something else then one way to go about it is to find a java program which can search LDAP (guess some examples are available online) and invoke it via esql/javacompute

Thanks for a reply abhi_thri. My intention is to get user details from ldap and to modify them, but through rest service. Like exposing some basic ldap functionalities (ldapsearch and ldapmodify).
