Hello Friends,

I have 3 clients.Client 1 is 2-way and Client 2 and 3 are 1-way.

I want to create a single port for all 3 clients lets say 443 on Data power

1) Is it possible?
2) Does client 2 & 3 have to provide certificates for success connection

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Shouldn't you post this on the Datapower page?

1. Yes it is possible but you need to configure it correctly on your network settings.
2. Depends on your settings and network infrastructure. Try it?

I thought so, and fixed it.

Apologies for posting in the wrong forum.

Can someone help me on how to proceed with this? I am fairly new to Data Power.

The SSL Server typically dictates if the SSL Clients have to provide their public key (2 way) or not (1 way) or if its optional (1 or 2 way, provide it if you want, better be good if you do!)

DataPower, acting as the SSL Server, can have a service deployed where the SSL settings for that service allow for clients to present their SSL public key and checks it if they do, but also allows clients to connect if they don't present their SSL public key.

Look at the DataPower Crypto Objects used for your DataPower service - it will be a set of check boxes related to the client being required or not to provide their SSL details.
