Hello, I have 2 MQ servers with RQSTR/SVR channel connections. These work without SSLCIPH specified. However once enabled on both ends, I get an internal error on the SVR Aix side (MQ 8.0.0.4) which has a self signed cert that I extracted from the SVR side and added to the RQSTR MQ 7.0.1.12 Linux Box.
first error on SVR side
AMQ9788: Slow DNS lookup for address '192.168.1.11'.
EXPLANATION:
An attempt to resolve address '192.168.1.11' using the 'getnameinfo' function
call took 21 seconds to complete. This might indicate a problem with the DNS
configuration.
ACTION:
Ensure that DNS is correctly configured on the local system.
I do have the ip address listed in the /etc/hosts file plus this works with SSL CIpher blank, So i dont feel its pertinent
Here is the secondary error.
AMQ9620: Internal error on call to SSL function on channel '????' to host
'192.168.1.11'.
EXPLANATION:
An error indicating a software problem was returned from a function which is
used to provide SSL or TLS support. The error code returned was '9'. The
function call was 'gsk_environment_init'.
wondering what else to verify? I can telnet on SVR to the RQSTR 1420 verifying firewall is not an issue.
THIS may be of help... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
