Hi Team,
can somebody explain from a technical perspective, what is the difference between -i and -w when triggering endmqm.

especially from the point of restarting a server or a service using systemd unix.

Using -w means that the queue manager will wait for applications to disconnect before closing, and the endmqm command will wait until the queue manager closes before exiting.

Using -i means that the queue manager will start to shut down as soon as the in-flight MQI calls are completed irrespective of the application's connection status.
