OK, I'm stumped. What does this environment variable mean and do?

I can't find jack about it.

Looks like something custom.... in 10.0.0.7 this is the output of

MQSI_VERSION=10.0.0.7
MQSI_VERSION_F=7
MQSI_VERSION_M=0
MQSI_VERSION_R=0
MQSI_VERSION_V=10

I'm doing a clean install on Linux 6.8, IIB 10.0.0.8 and MQ 8.0.0.6. I commented out that variable until I find out what it does.
