Hi everyone,
I have a flow, which has a SAP Request node. The problem is that under some circumstances, the SAP RFC takes up to 5 minutes do reply. There is no timeout property in the SAP Request node. I read the documentation, and the only thing that I saw is timeout for inactive connections:

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSMKHH_10.0.0/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/bc22630_.htm

I need to set the reply timeout to 120s (max). Is there any solution to limit the max wait time when I call a SAP RFC?

Regards,

Savio Barros

Seems that the problem you face is with active RFC's. Depending on how involved your SAP processing is it might take some time to process. If this time is longer than your time-out, well life is tough....

On the other hand, you probably should be able to do an asynchronous handling. Send the update to SAP in an IDOC... Have the IDOC queued for processing and get the status update. If no status update available within the 120 seconds... well it's been queued....

Hope it helps
