Dear community,

we've a request to deal with SAP's HCM Suite OData API. Is there any built-in support in IIB for OData yet?

I've checked the Info Center but didn't find anything. Does anyone have created a solution for this? Are there any plans to support OData in IIB?

Is there a specific reason you have to talk to SAP using ODP?

Wouldn't the default method supported by the SAP node be sufficient?

Our client is asking for exchange data over SAP HCM API, specified in

http://help.sap.com/saphelpiis_cloud4hr/EN/SuccessFactors_HCM_Suite_OData_API_Handbook_en.pdf

Might be the REST API and REST Request Node can handle something but I'm not sure what is necessary on top.

in the end of the day it's just a set of rest services were you can post some json data.

Broker/IIB is capable of talking to a rest services and sent json data , maybe you don't have a plugin for SAP Odata , so you will need to develop this "plugin" yourself using http nodes (depending on you broker version you can use restnodes)
