In IIB v10 I am trying to create a Shared library to keep java class files. I will call the Java functions from another shared library which contains ESQL files.
But I did not find any option to create Java shared library.
If the I create empty shared library I could not add a Java class to it as the library is not a java project.
Java must be created in an Eclipse Java project, so you must first create a Java project and then include that Java project in your IIB Shared Library.
Note to have ESQL code in applications or shared libraries call static Java methods in referenced shared libraries you need to be using the shared library qualifier in the CLASSLOADER clause. For more information, see "Java routine example 4" in CREATE PROCEDURE statement.
