That was going to be my next question. At this point, I would be putting Trace nodes into the flow and inspecting the byte arrays that are being received/produced.

I'd also look at the bitstream that is going over the 'wire' with a tool like Wireshark.

You can see if the extra characters are there BEFORE it gets to IIB.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Definitely not SOAP-UP, I tried to use file read node and take the BLOB coming out from it and send it directly by the email output node, and I got the same extra bytes.

I will check the wireshark option, now to see whats being transferred to the Email server.

Ok, the data is being transferred from the SOAP-UI correctly ( I used warkshark to verify that). Also, to double check I used a file read node to get the BLOB, and in both cases: once it goes out from the Email Output node it gets corrupted by the extra bytes.

I am lost here

time for a PMR then?
If you do raise a PMR please reference this thread in your submission. It will help the Support people eliminate what has been suggested and tried

And please remember that the MIME structure on output does not EXACTLY match the MIME structure on input. May be you should have a quick look at that, checking with the examples of MailOutput node...

IBM support team reply to me on the PMR is not convincing!!
They told me that the trace logs shows that the email output node is working fine, and the wireshark dump showing the corrupted data, doesn't Imply that the issue from the email output node...

Not sure what to do in this case.

Tell them you're unconvinced?

Seriously - if you don't understand the answer, ask them to explain it again.
