To all,

Am I misunderstanding something about Libraries and Message Set Projects or am I not understanding how to get the Message Set into the Library.

What I am finding is that when converting a Message Set project to a Library the process is really only 1.) Creating the Library, 2.) creating a logical link in the Library to the external Message Set project. After i do the conversion and add it to SVN I do not see the actual Message Set in the Library. The Message Set Project remains outside the Library and remains as it's own Project on the filesystem.

What I want is the Message Set to actually reside inside the Library. I want the developer to simply go to SVN and check out the Library and get all the included Message Sets without having to checkout and have the Message Set project on the filesystem. I want the Message Set to actually reside inside the Library.

Is the expected behavior to have the logical container and the logical link? Is it actually possible to do what I want to have the Message Set reside inside the Library?

Thanks to all!
EMC

Hi Eric,

I fear to be able to do that, you would have to analyze the dot .project file and download all the dependencies. And of course you'd need to that recursively...

You might want to look at tools like Maeven, or Jenkins etc... to verify that they have that capability...

Depending on what the message sets contain, you might want to replace the message sets with libraries containing standard xsds or DFDL xsds.
