Hi All,

I would like to know any IBM recommendation to configure the WebSphere MQ 7.5 Queue Manager parameters for AIX Environment?

Looking MQ 7.5 based queue manager standard configurable parameter recommend by IBM or as a best practices.

I tried to search this standard configuration in the MQ 7.5 Infocenter but unable to find it..

Thanks,
wagner

Did you look at the official IBM system admin and system setup/configuration manuals?

Qmgr creation and config does not require any specific AIX config changes.

Based on usage requirements and local operational standards, you should look at creating separate disk files systems of appropriate size for /var/mqm, /var/mqm/qmgrs, /var/mqm/log, /var/mqm/errors.
When the qmgr is created you should specify the type of recovery logs, their size and number.
qm.ini parameters to consider are ActiveChannels, MaxActiveChannels, particularly if Clients or MQ Clusters will be used.
There are many other qmgr and object parameters related performance and capacity tuning, YMMV. A dead letter queue should be defined.
