Hi folks,

We have an IMQ08 session scheduled for NYC October 4-6 and we have a lot of seats. And yes we do talk some about V9. 12:00 – 1:00 Lunch
1:00 – 1:30 Deep Dive – Taking advantage of new z/OS features
1:30 – 2:30 Deep Dive – New since V8 GA - MQ and CICS Support of JMS
2:30 – 2:45 Break
2:45 – 3:15 Deep Dive - IBM MQ Bufferpool Management for V8
3:15 – 5:00 Labs – Extended Bufferpool
Labs - CICS/MQ JMS support Lab

Day 2:

Time Description
9:00 – 9:15 Review and Questions
9:15 – 10:00 Installation and Migration IBM MQ for zOS V8
10:00 – 10:15 Break
10:15 – 11:15 Traditional SMF – SMF 115 and SMF116 Class 3 Review
11:15 – 12:00 Deep Dive – New SMF reporting for CHINIT and Channel Accounting
12:00 – 1:30 Lunch
1:30 – 2:30 MQ Administration
2:30 – 2:45 Break
2:45 – 3:45 Users Choice!
3:45 – 5:00 Lab – SMF Labs and Open Lab work
