Hi,

I have two version of MQ installed in Windows Server 2008. MQ7.1(Installation1) and MQ 8.0(Installation2). Queue Manager is associated to Installation2 and I am trying to delete it. But I am getting message

AMQ5691: Queue manager 'QMS4' is associated with a different installation
('Installation2').

I am also not able to set this QMGR to Installation1

And when you issue the 'dltmqm' command. Which version of it are you using? Is it the one that belongs to Installation1 or Installation2 ? It has to match the Queue Manager.

Make sure you've issue the appropriate setmqenv call before you issue the delete.

Cheers,

Paul.

Before issuing the delete command try:
Code:
setmqenv -m QM2
dltmqm QM2

This should work...
