Hi,

I am using a user defined SVRCONN channel and am able to connect to the qmgr from Websphere MQ Explorer using this channel but am not able to connect to the remote broker using this SVRCONN channel.
I have set the chlauth parameter for this channel as well as below
CHLAUTH(TEST.SVRCONN) TYPE(USERMAP)
DESCR( ) CUSTOM( )
ADDRESS(1.2.*.*) CLNTUSER(abcd)
USERSRC(CHANNEL) CHCKCLNT(ASQMGR)
ALTDATE(2016-06-14) ALTTIME(16.06.59)

Still am unable to connect from iibv9 toolkit to remote broker.

Could anybody kindly help.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I would just like to highlight one more point here is that I am trying to connect iibv9 toolkit to iibv10 broker.
Is this connectivity possible?
I tried to search regarding this but in vain. Could anybody help me on this?

This is not possible. IIB V9 connects through the qmgr. IIB V10 use http(s) protocol.

Hi,

I upgraded to iibv10 toolkit. but still am unable to connect to iib10 remote broker. I am getting the below error
Quote:

The Integration Node could not be reached. Please check that the Integration Node has been started and check that the Web Admin Listener has started.

Check that,
1. The integration node is running.
2. The TCP/IP port used by the integration node's web user interface is active.
3. The integration node name provided in the connection details matches the name of the integration node if the node is remote.

Thanks

what you got there is not an error. It describes a connection and suggestions for action to alleviate this connection state.

What have you tried and what were the results?

I changed the properties of the broker using mqsichangeproperties and enabled the SSL. I also assigned the HTTPConnector and HTTPSConnector to a port but in vain.

What makes to think that the HTTPConnector and HTTPSConnector are needed for an Administration connection?
Can you point to where this is described in the documentation?

Actually I saw this for Web UI and thought would work for this as IIB10 uses HTTP port.
SO I could not figure out what I should change for it to work.

The Web UI is an entirely separate thing than the Integration Server and it's Nodes.

There should be plenty of information in the Knowledge Center (KC) to allow you to configure the Web UI to your needs/liking.

Something else.

The admin connection has nothing to do with the ports the flows use.

Hi,

I had to ask one more question. the port should it be HTTPConnector port or the qmgr running port? This is iib10 toolkit and broker?

Neither.

It's the port that is configured for admin connections. This is not configured any other way, or used by any other thing

look at
Code:
mqsireportproperties BrokerName -b webadmin -o HTTPConnector -r
mqsireportproperties BrokerName -b webadmin -o HTTPSConnector -r
or even more simple on the running broker...
mqsilist

Have fun
