Hi,

I have 1 queue manager on MQ v6, with SHA1 1024bits
and 1 queue manager on MQ v7.1 with SHA256 1024bits

Is it possible to have ssl secured connection between them?
from my understanding the handshaking will fail even if I will use a cipherspec with less than 160bits.

You have an obsolete and broken queue manager, that has more risks and potential causes of failure than you should accept.

Any request for change or modification of that queue manager should only be responded to by 'I can't do that until we upgrade."

Otherwise, please tell us what you have found in the documentation. Please tell us what you have tried, and whether it worked or not, and if it failed, what it did and what the full error messages were.
