I have read the IBM Infocentre regarding the use of allowing RFH2 style variables and values to be used in the scenario of File ---- Queue coming across in the usr "container" but can not see anything specific that allows me to set things in the MQMD - the particular setting is setting the ApplIdentityData to a value - yes I know its not a good thing to do but this is legacy so I get no choice, so just need to try to replicate, if possible

any link I might have missed would be appreciated or if not possible will throw it over the fence back to project


I think I already know the answer to this really but if you dpon't ask you never know
