I have a working network of queue managers and clients all using CA signed certificates to communicate back and forth.

Now I have a vendor that needs to connect to one of my queue managers, and this vendor is doing a 2 way ssl certificate exchange within his queue managers.

How do I connect my queue manager (with a symantec CA signed certificate) to his queue manager (with just a regular symantec certificate)?

I think i read that MQIPT might help, but i really didn't want to introduce any new infrastructure.

You get him to trust your certificate and you add his certificate to your trust store.

Then you make sure both channels are set to do two-way ssl...
