We have a new windows server 2008, and need to freshly/newly install WMB toolkit version: 6.1.0.10 on it. How can we do it. ?
I tried with installing base version 6.1 on win server 2008 but it errored as OS does not support.
""Your operating system is currently unsupported.
Continuing Websphere Message Brokers V6.1 installation is not recommended.""
So, can anyone please let me know how to install WMB Toolkit 6.1 (fix pack 10 or 12) on win server 2008 R2. ??? |

correct Nelson. we have slowly migrating to WMB 8.0
but, to support existing build infrastructure, I need to install the support / recommended version of WMB 6.1 fix pack 10 or even 12.
please let me know to install it on win server 2008 a specific version ? |

yes, i see that the WMB 6.1 is supported on wins server 2008 OS.
Toolkit Requirements:
Operating Systems:
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (Standard or Enterprise 32-bit and 64-bit Edition) [see section note 1]
WebSphere Message Broker v6.1.0.3 or later is required.
I like to know how to install this specific version on win server 2008 machine.
I tried with base version WMB 6.1.0 and it errored as unsupported OS.
please anyone share your thoughts on this. |

Code that needs to be changed should be put to the top of the list to be migrated to WMBv8 (which you mentioned you were doing).
You shouldn't still be changing things in v6.1 at this point in history.
